Fortis Enterprise Document Management Solution

Fortis is a feature-rich client/server product suite that is ideal

for the office, department, organization or enterprise,

operating over a LAN, WAN, intranet, the Internet or an

extranet.

Fortis is available as a multi-user system with the following database options:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition embedded. With this configuration, the SQL Server database can only be used with Fortis.

• Microsoft SQL Server as an open system.  Fortis can be used with other applications.

• Connection to Oracle as an open system.  Fortis can be used with Oracle and other applications.

Client operating system environments are Windows 2000 Professional and

Windows XP.

Fortis offers many options, including Microsoft Office Integration, Electronic Report Management (ERM), support, CD/DVD publishing, a Web-based version - Fortis PowerWeb, a workflow feature - Fortis Inflo and an electronic authorization

process - Fortis ApproveIt.

File Magic Office Document Management

File Magic 5 Series is an older Westbrook product.  It is available for up to 15 concurrent users over a LAN system.  It is also available in a single-user version.

This suite is ideal for the office, department or mid-size organization, and can

serve as a transitional solution to Fortis as it has built-in paths for easy system migration.

File magic uses the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 desktop Engine (MSDE 2000)

database management system. Client operating system environments are

Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional.  The File Magic suite

has options for integration with the Microsoft Office suite and CD/DVD publishing.

File Magic customers are being upgraded to Fortis SE.  Beginning March 1, 2006

and through the year, ending March 1, 2007, current File Magic customers who

are active in the Westbrook software support program are now able to migrate

to Fortis SE.  By having one product with multiple options for both small and large

user communities, Westbrook is making things easier for you as they offer more

value for your investment.
